The Nights of Gehenna Chronicle (#NightsofGehenna) started out a couple of years ago when a group of RP writers came together & began weaving a tale centered on the re-awakening of Caine & the Antediluvians (using old-school VtM/pre-Bloodlines source material - i.e. Malkavians still have Dementation). Sorely disappointed in the state of both Kindred society & the world at large, the Dark Father has gathered powerful allies within three self-proclaimed "Cainite cities" determined to bring things back into balance & re-instate the Laws he had set forth in Enoch. As the ruling factions attempt to squash & quell the actions of their vampiric elders via propaganda, outright denial & violence, Caine & his supporting Cainites work to re-educate the Kindred about their true beginnings & heritage. Meanwhile the Dark Father purges those who won't be needed in the Cainite-run future as well as those who work to keep Cainites shackled in the grips of their games in order to maintain their personal power.

MAIN GEHENNA PLOT POINTS THAT HAVE HAPPENED SO FAR:

• Malkav inadvertently kicked off Gehenna for Kindred society at large when he & Set visited Elysium in New Orleans. Still confused by the world around him, he mistook a vampire holding up a cell phone to record Set as some kind of weapon & viciously attacked him. A video of the entire event, horrifyingly filmed from the victims' perspective, quickly spread across Shreknet & throughout Kindred society; alerting the vampiric world to the fact that the Antediluvians had begun to awaken.

• The Tremere clan has been purged to the point of only a very small number who agreed with Caine's vision to rebuild themselves without the Tremere Pyramid of Power & the Council of Seven lording over them. The Tremere who are left are no longer blood bound to each other; the eldest amongst them nurturing & training the younger in their Thaumaturgy & redefining themselves as a new Cainite clan.

• Saulot arose from his apparent diablerie & personally destroyed the Tremere Council of Seven, which kicked off that clans' purging. Before falling back into torpor, the Antediluvian made sure to secure the beginning of the Salubri clan renewal via his childe & new grandchilde.

• The Ministry were wiped out by Set himself, before he fell back into torpor, to demonstrate that even their own Antediluvian says that he is not to be placed above Caine. Only those Setites who understood & accepted the proper order of things were spared the Egyptians' wrath.

• The mummy Osiris has suffered final death when Caine helped Set to completely destroy him.

• The numbers of the Malkavian clan were greatly diminished in two separate waves that coursed through the Kooks. The first being the spontaneous combustion of numerous Malkavians when their Antediluvian awoke from torpor. The second caused by Malkav locking himself & the rest of his clan into the Malkavian Madness Network for more than twelve hours while he used their collective knowledge to acclimate himself to the times. Malkavians frozen where the sun could reach them did not survive.
